In March, I served as Tour Director for two Education First tour groups. Both of my groups were middle school teachers, students, and families from the US coming (25 and 48 travelers!) It was exciting to watch the students grow and explore through their first visit to Tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara. My personal experience as a long-term resident, and as a mother, was essential in planning and problem solving for this age group.
